If you watched Project Runway this past Wednesday, you know that left the show due to a staff infection. Project Runway Aficionados (PRA) had been teased with clips of the upcoming episode leaving many to wonder:
1) was he leaving because of some type of complication due to his HIV status?
2) was there a death in the family?
3) something else
It turns out the PRAs who chose #3 were correct. Jack had a staph infection in his mouth (of all places). He needed medical attention and had to leave the show. They brought back costume designer Chris.

There have been some rumors that his staph infection was caused by botox and/or collagen injections. On Towleroad, Jack has denied the rumors. So here's hoping that Jack will be back!
