Pic Of The Day - 07.15.15 - Influencer

How I spent my Wednesday.

Pic Of The Day - 07.14.15 - Souvenir

Something I picked up in New Orleans. It was the theme for the weekend.

Pic Of The Day - 07.13.15 - PPS

Monday consisted of dealing with PPS (Post Party Syndrome) and getting The Calvinator back into a routine. And that consisted of taking him for a stroll during lunch. And, we noticed that his crib had new flowers.

Pic(s) Of The Day - 07.12.15 - They All Axed For You!

So...Sunday was the last day of the birthday extravaganza. I knew better than to spend Saturday night strolling through the bars on in The Quarter. And, because I was well rested, I was able to get up early, pack, and go to Mass at St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square. It is one of my favorite churches.

Part of the birthday boy's posse was gathering at Broussard's for brunch. I had never been to that restaurant so I was game. It was actually very nice, the food was good AND they have bottomless Mimosas. It was a trifecta! Some of the guests at brunch looked like the Walking Dead of New Orleans but not me!

I loved that they had a jazz band strolling through the restaurant and without me asking, they played They All Asked For You.

I had some time to kill so part of the posse ended up at The Pub and then it was time for me to start making my way back to MSY. While I was waiting for the shuttle in the lobby of Hotel St. Marie I looked up and noticed the cool ceiling!

Pic(s) Of The Day - 07.11.15 - I Love A Parade

For over a year, my friend Jim has been talking about having a blowout 60th Birthday Party in New Orleans and he held true to his word.

Open bar. Lite bites. Friends. Jazz band. Police escort. Parade. More cocktails. Heat. Humidity.

About 4:00p.m. I decided I needed to rest. I relaxed and then found my Killer Poboys and then strolled around The Quarter.

Pic Of The Day - 07.10.15 - The Morning After

So...after a night of festivities at la griglia, it was time to head to New Orleans. All I could think of was having a Bloody Mary and that was the beginning of the end.

All I could then think of was a big, greasy cheeseburger which then lead to more drinking which was the second beginning of the end.

Pic(s) Of The Day - 07.09.15 - Happy Birthday Frank

In anticipation of Frank Campisi's 85th birthday, a group of us gathered at la griglia to celebrate. You only 85 years old once.

Pic Of The Day - 07.08.15 - Slap!

I love Carole Radziwill. And, I can just hear her saying this to someone and really meaning it!

Pic Of The Day - 07.06.15 - Big Red Truck

I never realized how big fire trucks are until I was beside and behind this one.

Pic Of The Day - 07.05.15 - Both Sides Now

This is the Pappadeaux's parking lot view of The Calvinator's Crib.

Pic(s) Of The Day - 07.04.15 - Independence Day

I used July 4 to display a flag and decorate The Calvinator's balcony. He allowed a couple of minutes to photograph him with his most recent headpiece.

One the surprises I received was being able to see fireworks from River Oaks Country Club.

Pic Of The Day - 07.02.15 - Agua Fresca

I decided to be a bit creative mix some Tito's Vodka with this refreshing water. I over did it on the vodka. Oops!

(Missing) Pic Of The Day - 07.01.15

So it looks like I'm missing a pic. I wasn't at work. I was at by the pool. I'm thinking I did a screenshot but I can't find it. If I uncover a pic or something, I'll do an update.

Pic Of The Day - 06.30.15 - Who'll Stop The Rain?

It rained again. It rained hard. It flooded the streets. It rained sideways. It took me 2.5 hours to a 5 mile round trip.

Pic Of The Day - 06.29.15 - Waiting For Sandra Bullock

I was in Austin for a conference and this time around my co-workers were in charge of making dinner reservations. Little did I know that Sandra Bullock has a restaurant in Austin named Bess. We ate there and the food was yummy but there was no Sandra Bullock. We ate in a small, private booth and this is a photo of the light fixture.
