Memorial Day

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service.

Here are some pics that I snapped this morning at Hermann Park.

When you have someone of your blood over there, the reality of the War become very apparent.

The potential loss is always on your mind.

I can not imagine what it would have been like if the No. 1 son had lost his life, in a war that is meaningless, that was predicated on false information.

When I saw your entry today.... I cried again.

For those men and women will never fulfill their dreams and the dreams of their families.

Never.

I am blessed, to have my son home.

I will remember that the rest of my life !!!!

God bless these men & women. I cannot agree more w/Tommy..."a war that is meaningless, that was predicated on false information".
The same people who lied and sent these troops are the same ones who don't take care of them when they come home. ARGHHHHH!

Get out of Iraq & Afghanistan NOW!

Peace

Your photo of the boots with flags in them was even more poignant than the photo of the graves in Arlington National Cemetery this weekend.

I agree with everyone else. I'd like all our soldiers to come home safely and soon.
