I don't expect everyone to understand. I don't expect everyone to agree. What I do want is all of the Hillary Haters to not comment. Is that so wrong?
Hillary officially conceded today. If I remember correctly, she had 17 million votes in the primary. 17 million people supported her and yet she lost. Tactical error for underestimating the power of the caucuses? Probably so.
What I do hope is that Obama doesn't take the 17 million Hill Raisers for granted. There are those who say he doesn't owe us anything. To them I will use the name of Sandra Bernhard's movie, Without You I'm Nothing. She (we) should get a seat at the table.
So let me wallow in my sad emptiness for a bit. And I will leave you with this song.

Yes, it's over - unfortunately. Once the dust settles -- Hillary's supporters are going to remember the smear campaign that Mr. Obama's team worked so fiercly on during the primaries ... and many are not going to just concede their vote to Mr. Obama.
I'm one of those who will not be voting for Mr. Obama -- his campaign team did a "fantastic" job of smearing the Clintons -- the biggest being calling them racists. I, one, cannot and WILL NOT forget that -- especially after all that President and Mrs. (Senator) Clinton have done for the people of the United States for the past 35 years ... what, exactly, has Mr. Obama done for the United States in the past?
My vote will go to John McCain in November because change is more than just something you talk about - it's something you envision because of experience. Mr. Obama can talk about change, but what kind of change can you bring about when you don't have any real experience dealing with the real world and its problems?

Who would have thought Chelsea would be such an attractive young lady?
You know, a lot of people don't really know how much she has done for the party over the last 16 years. She gave America permission to trust her husband, over and over again. She was instrumental in that.
And now look at what she's doing for Obama. Would he have done the same if she won the nomination? She arranged for her financial supporters to meet with Obama. She didn't just give him their number and say give them a call. She facilitated everything.
But Obama had the advantage of not having any real record. He can be vague and make a lot of different claims regarding how he would do things differently and since he doesn't have a track record, no one can really claim otherwise.
Hillary might not be as affective if she is VP. There might be another role out there for her where she can make a huge difference. VP might not be it. I'm really very curious to see where she lands.
As Democrats we have to stick together because the Supreme Court is at stake. We do not want McCain to appoint justices.
It was nice to hear that song again. Yes, Chelsea is attractive, poised, and amazing.
