On the radio. oh oh oh oh

Today at 4:33 p.m. CDT I was at a stoplight at Shepherd & W. Dallas waiting for the left turn signal to give me permission to turn left. I had the radio tuned into 104.1 KRBE. Typically if I'm in the car in the afternoon I'm not listening to KRBE but today I was and so be it. I don't fit the demographics for their afternoon programming. The music is a bit too Hip Hop for my tastes.

A commercial came on that caught my attention. It was about the increase in numbers of people who are testing positive for HIV and Syphillis in Houston. In the background a guy is saying, "Houston. We have a problem." So the commercial continues and discusses using a condom to help prevent the spread of HIV and Syphillis. The voice in the background says, "Houston. We have a condom."

And I think these were the words that were used to end the commercial: "Wrap your rocket before you blast off." LOL OMG I bet some soccer mom in Katy who accidentally had her radio tuned to KRBE drove off the side of the road when she heard that!

The commercial was sponsored by the City of Houston Health Department and I must say it is an attention getter.
