I'm not sayin' this just because she is a hometown girl. And maybe it was the moment. Beyoncé knocked it out of the ballpark last night at The Neighborhood Ball.
For the Obamas' first dance, Beyoncé sang At Last. Etta James would have been so proud. And on top of that, Beyoncé looked flawless. It was the perfect song for the perfect moment.

Beyonce was incredible as always! Not sure how she made it through that song- Miss Ginger would have been bawling! What a happy day!
I sure would LOVE to see Beyonce do an album of the great old hits by Etta, Ella, Billie, Sarah, and Lena! What a record that would be!

I agree she did a GREATjob. However, her husband Jay-Z showed his true colors at a party they both attended. I will send you the link if you want it. Very off-color remarks, disrespectful and more....Can't imagine that this is what Obama had in mind for the country. Not sure how Beyonce could have been proud of her husband at theevent either.
