Project Runway rehab no, no, no

As mentioned in the previous post, my allergies have been bothering me so I've been napping most of the day and catching up on Project Runway news.

David Dust and Running My Mass Off both posted about a follow-up show to Project Runway. Get this. The name is Sew Not Over.

I also caught up with all of Fashion Week news by reading Project Rungay and Blogging Project Runway.

This all comes on the heels of watching Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency and getting caught up in all of her drama. I just that train wreck!

And on Thursday night, the models on Make Me A Supermodel appeared in fashion shows during fashion week. All of this is making me want to pull out the dvd Unzipped and continue on the overdose of all things fashion related.

In the midst of all this, David Dust sends me an email and says: I actually walked past Bryant Park today (on my way to the dollar store), and I saw some chick on the street carring a shopping bag from...wait for it...The Spandex House! I laughed my ass off, right in the middle of 6th Avenue!

Oh to be in NYC this past week!

Speaking of Spandex House...I'm actually blogging and watching a repeat of Wednesday night's Project Runway episode. Chris cracks me up! He knew exactly what he wanted at Spandex House. He knew where to find it. He was in his element.

I wonder if the foot traffic and hits to website have increased for Spandex House. I think on my next trip to NYC I may have to drop in.

Based on these designs, it appears that they have quite the selection of spandex and lycra.

I like Rami's shirt. Hate the wrestler's costume.

Prior to watching the PR WWE episode, I watched the denim episode. I forgot about Nina Garcia's comment about Sweet P's dress. She said, "Any of us girls, with the exception of Michael, would wear that dress." Michael Kors says, "with the right shoes..." LOL

Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency (Andrew Christian)

In case you missed JDMA the other night, there was a segment about the Andrew Christian photo shoot. Oh my. Hot models everywhere. One of the female models used the term soft porn. LOL Keep in mind this is the same model who ambushed Janice with a Models For Jesus meeting. The episode has a guy getting his arse shaved, a guy getting a prosthetic in his undies and well, just Janice being Janice. Enjoy!

Train Wreck

Mardi Gras season is almost here! It is my favorite time of year. Cheap plastic beads. Alcohol. King Cake. Purple, green and gold. It's all good.

The season begins on January 6 which is also known as The Feast of The Epiphany, The Feast of The Three Kings and The 12th Day of Christmas/Twelfth Night.

I'm on a tangent here so bear with me. It is a short Mardi Gras Season this year and I'll explain why in another post. Because it is a short season, the Krewe ball is early so tonight I was at a script writing meeting.

I just finished eating. AND I just finished watching a tape of the season premiere of Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.

She is a train wreck. AND I love watching the show.

On the season premiere, she calls Sorin to come and be her bodyguard because she thinks she needs one. As many people as she p!sses off, it is probably a good idea to have a bodyguard.

So. She gives Sorin a shirt that says, SECURITY but then she cuts and rips it. Now honestly, would this guy scare you?

Janice also decides that she is going to start a Latin division of the modeling agency. And we're not talking the dead language Latin we're talking a division that specializes in people of Latin descent (i.e. Mexican, Brazilian, Guatemalan, Cuban, etc.).

I never realized that there is a lack of Latino/Hispanic models or should I say, avenues for models to get bookings. So that part of the train wreck was interesting.

I'm sure some of the models (although fluent in English) were thinking, "¡Ella está loca!"

I'm still trying to figure out why she feels the need to over enunciate her words; words in English AND Spanish. LOL

And yes, I'll be watching the show for the rest of the season. You just never know what la señora loca is going to do.
