Pic(s) Of The Day - 05.03.15 - Brunch @ B19

I joined a group of people for brunch at Brasserie 19. It was a festive group celebrating a friend's birthday. B19 was hopping and it made me think of the daze days at La Strada. BTW, the food was delicious! I've only had dinner at B19 but now it is on my place-to-brunch list.

Croissant sandwich with potatoes
Rainbow cakeballs with a rainbow filling.

Pic Of The Day - 09.08.14 - Hali-bat that?

It's very rare that I eat fish at home so when I go out to eat I pay attention to the selections.

I had dinner with some friends at Brasserie 19 and halibut was on the menu. The side dish was quinoa and I can't decide which was better, the halibut or quinoa?

Pic Of The Day - 06.21.14 - Red Ox Bar & Grill

I have a bunch of posts to catch up on so you may see a flurry of posts today.  You will see that I've been busy, busy, busy.  So let's get started with this mural.
I'm noticing that more and more, murals are popping up in Houston.  This one is at Red Ox Bar & Grill and pays homage to Houston and Houston's north side.

The two women who owned Bocado's have opened a new place in the neighborhood where they grew up.  So...I ventured up there with a couple of friends.  It was a great turnout for their grand opening which was also a benefit for Barrio Dogs.  We stayed for a little and then headed over to Brasserie 19 for a long, casual dinner out on the patio.
