As I See It - 02.20.16 - What Happens In Vegas

So, I wasn't exactly in Vegas. I was still in Houston on Old Katy Road for OutReach United's Casino Night fundraiser. Two of my friends, April Ayers and Bryan Hlavinka, were co-chairs for the event. I'm not big on casino nights but it is always fun to mix and mingle with friends.

I'm not big on casino nights mainly because I don't know how to play roulette or craps. I have some understanding of blackjack so when I attend a casino night I give away my chips, drink, and mingle. And that was the case on Saturday evening at the Outreach United fundraiser. It was a fun time. And you gotta love this Martini glass motif.

OutReach United had their annual fundraiser on Saturday evening.  They always but on a fun event and this year's surprise was Cher!  Actually, it was Tasha Kohl who looked like Cher that performed some of Cher's greatest hits.

Can you tell I'm playing catch up? I've been taking pics but haven't been posting them. Hence, this splurge in postings.

So... last week Outreach United had a fundraiser.  It was a Vegas night which I really don't care for but I went anyway.  The suggested attire was Rat Pack.  I chose do to something a bit more eclectic.  I wore a Tommy Bahama shirt that I haven't worn in 7 years.  There's nothing more Vegas than a Martini, right?

Saturday Something To Do

You know...some Saturday nights I really prefer to stay home and sit on the couch, watch the telly and rub The Calvinator's tummy.  Tomorrow night (3/23) will be a different story which means it really must be something worthy of me not sitting on the couch.
