If This Doesn't Make You Smile...

then you must be a Scrooge. A flash mob in New York City recreates the dance scene from A Charlie Brown Christmas. Even Snoopy makes an appearance. The question is, "Would you have joined in?" Considering that I played Linus in Nolan High School's production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, I would have head butted the guy playing Linus and taken over. Enjoy!

Kinky Boots

Well...this totally blew me away!  I purchased a ticket for this Tony Award winning show thinking it was all about shoes and boots and little did I know that there is a moral to the story.

When the ensemble came out at curtain call, I was one of the first people on my feet.  That is so not me.

I even stayed after the show and waited by the stage door to meet members of the cast.  I was totally thrilled to meet Billy Porter and to get his autograph.

If you're in New York and only have time to see one show, make it Kinky Boots!  It's a show with a  sole.

The Russian Team Room

Last Saturday, August 31, 2013, I flew to New York to celebrate Tall Todd's birthday. The dinner celebration The Russian Tea Room.

Dinner was fun.  It's always the people that make the experience fun.  It was a combination of family and friends from Houston, New York and Arkansas.

After dinner, the birthday boy asked the manager if we could go upstairs.  I had no idea the restaurant had an events space and when we got up there I was amazed.

Enjoy the photos!

UPDATE: Some new photos that I received after this was posted.
