In Houston, we're known for tearing things down, uprooting trees, etc. A few years ago when we were building Legacy's new building in Montrose, we were asked to save the trees. They are over 90 years old and when we started thinking about it, it made sense. They are symbols of our deep roots within the community.
So...when H-E-B decided to build a new store in Montrose they too were asked to save as many trees as possible. This is one of them that is on the property.
