As I See It - 03.11.16 - Into The Canyon

There has been quite a bit of construction happening in Houston. Cranes are everywhere and for the past year or so, I have watched this piece of Post Oak Blvd. change. The street isn't a straight line so the bend in the road makes these buildings look like they are on top of each other. And driving thru them feels like going into a canyon.

Pic Of The Day - 02.02.15 - Oil Prices Down; Cranes Still Up

Oil prices have been dropping and there is buzz all around town about the impact it could have on Houston's economy. I'm not sure anyone can say for sure but it might cause a few projects to be delayed or shelved. There are cranes all over town and these construction projects started long before oil prices started dropping. I think we're all in a wait and see mode.

Pic Of The Day - 09.20.14 - The Cranes

It's a good problem to have.  Houston is a boom town again and there are cranes everywhere.

This picture doesn't quite capture what I wanted it to.  I would probably have to get out of the car and in the street to capture the true the essence of the sky disappearing at this intersection.

Pic Of The Day - 03.28.14

I don't know anything paving parking lots.  I've been watching the crew work on the lot on Missouri Street and it seems to be taking longer than I thought it would.  So on Friday they poured some white stuff.  I was heard to say,  "No use crying over spilled milk. "
