Pic(s) Of The Day - 08.18.15 - What A Day

Every now and then I have one of those non-stop days. It started off with the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Health Summit and Business Expo at the Hilton Americas. That evening I was at the launch party for Heart of Fashion which will take place in November. Then, it was off to China Garden for EPAH's dinner meeting and election of officers. At the meeting I was elected Vice President. What a day!

Pic Of The Day - 04.09.15 - Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Thursday was the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon & Business Expo. If memory serves me correctly, it was the 22nd annual luncheon. I knew there were over 1,000 people in attendance but I didn't realize that it was actually closer to 1,500. That's a big luncheon!

And you never know who might just drop in. This time it was Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

In this photo are some of my co-workers who worked Legacy's booth in during the expo at the Hilton America's.

Pic Of The Day - 04.17.14

I hate it when the confetti pops too early!  And it happened at the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon & Business Expo.

Dr. Laura Murillo was speaking and a random canister of confetti popped right over the table where I was seated.  I didn't flinch.  I'm not sure what that says about me.  Anywho...

You could tell that it surprised her but she made the best of it and laughed it off by saying that she saw Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia go under a table.

It was all fine until I reached to drink my water and there was confetti in it.  So I reached for my glass of tea...and there was confetti in it.
