And then there is this tree in my mother's neighbor's yard. You can see multiple colors of leaves all on the same tree.

The Houston climate stunts the changing of colours of leaves. I spotted this tree in Haltom City while I was out with The Calvinator.

There is a set of Weeping Willows on Woodhead that form a curtain of leaves. I tried to snap a better photo but I was holding up traffic. Oops.

This tree resides in The Calvinator's Upper Kirby 'hood. If you look at it you will notice that its branches are thick, extensive and hang low.

During the past few months, we've been working on the parking situation at Legacy's Montrose location.  One of the final touches is the planting of shrubs and trees.

In Houston, we're known for tearing things down, uprooting trees, etc.  A few years ago when we were building Legacy's new building in Montrose, we were asked to save the trees.  They are over 90 years old and when we started thinking about it, it made sense. They are symbols of our deep roots within the community.

So...when H-E-B decided to build a new store in Montrose they too were asked to save as many trees as possible.  This is one of them that is on the property.
