It was another full day.

I took the day off to go the Houston Ballet's Nutcracker Market and that place was nuts! It was NRG Center and the exhibit hall was full. I may or may not have purchased a few things. One vendor told me to get out of there by 2:00PM because it would be wall-to-wall people.

Later that evening I was BACK at Hilton America's for March of Dimes Signature Chefs Gala. This is one of my favorite events to attend because guests get to sample food from some of Houston's best restaurants.

I have often stated that I am the equivalent of a seat filler at the Academy Awards.  Many times I am asked to attend a gala, dinner, reception, etc. because we have the space.  It may sound like I'm complaining but I'm not because I have been treated to some good cuisine and cocktails!

The night of the 16th was March of Dimes Cirque du Cuisine.  Many of Houston's top restaurants provided sample food and the beverages flowed.  It was a great evening for a great cause.
