Pic Of The Day - 12.05.14 - I Need A Maid!

Seriously! I need a maid! I need someone to do my laundry and fold it. I hate doing laundry and more than that I hate folding it.

At The Calvinator's Upper Kirby Crib, we have a trash fairy. Monday thru Friday, before you go to bed, you set the trash out by your door. When you awaken the next morning, voila the trash is gone. Maybe for Christmas I'll get a laundry fairy.

Darlene Love performs "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" - 12.19.14

Last night on Late Show with David Letterman, Darlene Love performed for the last time on the show Christmas (Baby Please Come).

This was Darlene's last performance of the song on the show.  It was also her 21st performance of the song on the show and signals the end of a Christmas tradition.  She knocked it out of the ballpark and looked fabulous!

I'm a collector! I happen to collect things and one of best collections is my Martini glasses.  These glasses are what started the collection.  As they are unpacked, they are hand washed, dried and safely put away.

There is something very soothing about candles illuminating a dark room.  These are some religious candles that remind of my Roman Catholic upbringing.  They also represent all of the special intentions.  It's been a rough few weeks not only for me but for family and friends.

Our employee base at Legacy has really exploded over the past 5 years. A side effect of that growth is that we no longer can have one big holiday party.  This year each site/region split up into individual parties.  The Montrose party was at Riva's Italian Restaurant.

I always like going in there during this time of the year because it looks like the Christmas light fairy exploded all over the restaurant.

Legacy Community Health Services co-sponsored the candlelight vigil this year.  It took place at the Montrose location.  Montrose Center and City of Houston co-sponsored the event.

For the second year in a row, I led the effort to have the building bathed in red ribbons.  Our neighbor, El Real, acknowledged the day with a message on their marquee.

As I was going through my photos, I realized I didn't snap a photo for 11.30.14.  What I can tell about the day is this:
1. Woke up
2. Took The Calvinator to the park
3. Went to Starbucks
4. Loaded up the car
5. Drove from Ft. Worth to Houston
6. Unpacked the car
7. Went to a holiday party
8. Went to 103 Roy Street and did some additional packing
9. Went back to the apartment to an upset dog
10. Ate dinner
11. Went to bed
