Sunset

So it seems that for the past few weeks, regardless of whether I've been in Houston or Ft. Worth, it has been cloudy, foggy, drizzling, and/or raining. Houston was hit with a really bad storm on the morning of 1/2/17. High winds. Hail. Thunder. Lightning. So it was really nice to see clear skies and a sunset.

I just happened to look outside when it was time to walk The Calvinator, and I saw this sunset. No two sunsets are ever the same.

Another beautimus sunset in Houston. And...I wasn't going shopping until I was able to display my snowflakes on the balcony of the The Calvinator's crib. As you can tell, he doesn't look too thrilled.

So...on Sunday night the rain let up and the decision was made to go forward with 2015 Frank Billingsley Golf Classic. We all showed up early at Golf Club of Houston and welcomed the golfers. It was a great day for golf for a great cause benefiting Legacy Community Health.

When it was all said and done, I went home and took a nap and awakened in time to see this sunset.

Once the weather cools off, maybe I'll be able to enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the sunsets.

There are sunsets and then there are sunsets.  I took some photos with the blinds raised but then I realized there was a better effect taking the photo with the blinds as a filter.

I couldn't really decide what to eat for dinner so I drove around for a bit and ended up at Taco Cabana on Yale.  If you are what you eat, then I am fast, cheap and easy Mexican.

On my way home, I noticed the sunset while I was at Washington & Shepherd.  The clouds were catching the suns rays.

but I was stuck in traffic and couldn't take a photo.  Normally I don't have traffic issues but I decided to go the Super Target past Texas Medical Center.
