The Victory is having their annual Houston Brunch in a few weeks and in preparation for that they are doing house parties to build some momentum.

Pic Of The Day - 10.13.14 - An Evening With The Mayor
First of all, I am SO FAR BEHIND in getting photos posted. I do know that I have only missed one day without a photo. My apologies to those of you who wait and wait and wait.
I feel like I have had a bit of a setback and normally I try to let things get to me. It's been very difficult waking up in the morning. I stopped my regular routine of going to the gym. I was preoccupied and I let structure go. Plus, I was working on an event for work so that was also consuming my time.
Enough said. Here we go.

Victory Fund is planning it's Spring Brunch and the kick-off was at the Annise's (known as the Houston Mayor Annise Parker to you) house. It was the perfect evening to be outside.

I've been in an odd mood. People are sick. Two friends have recently died. I have a major change in my life on the horizon.
I was invited to Victory Fund Houston's Happy Hour and almost didn't go. At the last minute, a co-worker/friend convinced me to go and I committed to only one drink at Teala's which when it was all said and done amounted to 3. That's how I roll.

Pic Of The Day - 02.04.14
The Victory Fund had a cocktail reception to kickoff table sales for their upcoming brunch on March 16. I had been at a meeting at Texas Southern University earlier in the evening and was tentative about going to the cocktail party. I'm glad I attended the party.
It always good to see my peeps. However, the house was beautiful!
